GRAFX is color 35mm film of 400iso with 24 exposures to a roll. The graphic is pre-exposed into the negative. Because the burn-in process relies on pre-exposure, the graphic will always be the most exposed element in the final image. The graphic is very close to—but not completely—opaque. A photo taken with the lens cap on will show only the graphic when developed (the white graphic is already exposed into the otherwise black image). A photo taken directly at the sun—or really any bright light subject/background—may show little to nothing at all (the graphic and the image as a whole have both received maximum light exposure, eliminating any contrast and resulting in a completely white image). Because of differences in where the roll is cut during production, how the film is loaded, what type of camera is used, etc. it is impossible to say with certainty what portion of the pattern may appear on any specific frame.
